标题: 关于自旋态和能垒关系的问题

最近得到的审稿意见中有个问题没看懂，想请教各位老师：

“I ask the authors to discuss by presenting the ground spin state of all models any possible spin-crossing effect that may alter the energy barriers.”

请问其中的“ground spin state”是指基态的自旋度吗？
还有自旋交叉影响可能会改变能垒？是说不同自旋态计算所得能垒会不同吗？
琢磨几天了没想通，望各位老师不吝赐教T.T
