We are looking for a research scientist to join a team applying advanced computing techniques using supercomputers, GPUs and quantum computing to tackle real-world problems for chemistry and materials science. The candidate will participate in research, design and implementation in impactful projects involving materials science, chemistry, physics, deep learning, AI acceleration, harnessing various types of computing resources as well as quantum hardware.
This role requires a PhD degree in Quantum Information Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent. We are looking for people with demonstrable knowledge or possess relevant skills in one or more of the following:
Software development for machine learning, quantum chemistry, condensed matter physics, quantum simulators. Experience or know-how in quantum computing and/or quantum software development is a strong plus.
Quantum simulation platforms and packages such as Qiskit, AWS Braket, Qibo, QuTIP etc.
Good programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, and usage of the CUDA platform.
Experience with classical open-source quantum chemistry/materials simulations software package such as Psi4, PySCF, Quantum Espresso etc.
Experience using workflow management tools for data science or applied research (e.g. Kubeflow, MLflow).
Deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
In addition, the candidate should display the following:
Strong interest and self-motivation to learn advanced computing techniques, such as quantum computing and supercomputing.

We are looking for research engineers and senior research engineers to join a team looking into applying advanced computing techniques, such as quantum computing, supercomputing, and GPUs to tackle real-world problems. There are a wide variety of opportunities to participate in the research, design and implementation of impactful projects involving materials science, chemistry, deep learning, AI acceleration with the support of various types of computing resources as well as quantum hardware.
This role requires a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Quantum Information Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent. We are looking for people with knowledge in one or more of the following:
Knowledgeable with some experience in building software for Machine Learning (ML), Chemistry or Optimization module/package, implemented quantum simulator, etc.
Experience or know-how in quantum computing and/or quantum software development is a strong plus.
Experience or relevant skills in toolchain, middleware and compilation development.
Experience or relevant skills in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Good programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, CUDA.
Experience using workflow management tools for data science or applied research (e.g. Kubeflow, MLflow).
Strong interest and self-motivation to learn advanced computing techniques, such as quantum computing and supercomputing.
