Hello,
Is it possible to create a color ramp in VMD, like in Pymol (ramp_new ramp, potential, [1, 2, 3, 4], [orange, blue, aquamarine, magenta]).

AFAIK, VMD doesn't support customizing color transition

Is it possible to achieve that purpose via tcl scripting ?

Seems impossible. tcl script is unable to customize color transition in VMD. I hope VMD developers could provide more choices for color transition.
