Main Tasks:

- Strengthen digitalization involvement, especially kinetic modeling, in research and development.

- Support product development, transfers, and scale-ups activities through kinetic modeling.

- Develop innovative technical solutions via close collaboration with researchers from advanced materials and other digitalization fields.

- Drive new projects for the further development of internal kinetic modeling know-how.

- Actively exchange knowledge, ideas, and solutions with colleagues from different regions.

- Document and present research results, as well as observe and evaluate current scientific trends.

Requirements:

- Education: PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or other related fields with a focus on reaction kinetics modeling of polymerization process

- Technical & professional knowledge: Modeling experience for polymerization processes (deterministic/stochastic); Knowledge of reaction engineering, polymer chemistry, or polymer physics is a plus. Proficiency in using polymer kinetic modeling software and coding using Python/Matlab is a plus. Good communication skills as well as fluency in spoken and written English. A proactive team player with initiative and creativity for problem solving.
