What Your Job Will Be LikeDr. LiuXiaogang's research group is currently seeking a talented postdoctoralresearcher in computational chemistry to join their team. The primary focus ofthis position is to model and design organic fluorophores and dye moleculesthat exhibit room-temperature phosphorescence.As a member ofour team, the postdoctoral researcher will work collaboratively with bothcomputational chemists and experimentalists to develop a deep understanding ofvarious molecular systems, identify design rules, and create high-performancefluorescent and phosphorescent organic dyes with tailored properties.This positionis offered on a one-year basis, with the possibility of renewal. The successfulcandidate will be offered a highly competitive salary package commensurate withtheir skills and experience. Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, ora closely related field

Qualifications We Desire· Strong passion for research· Proficient in programming languages like Python,MatLab, or other similar languages to process large batches of data.· Good understanding of photochemistry, photophysics,and biochemistry.· Excellent communication skills (both written andverbal) and the ability to work in a team.· Familiarity with mainstream computational softwaresuch as Gaussian, MolPro, TurboMole, or Q-Chem.· Experience in modeling conical intersections would bean added advantage.Experience in modeling conical intersections would bean added advantage.
