【候选者要求】
• 拥有化学、化学工程或相关领域硕士学位
• 具备扎实的有机化学知识并对计算化学/机器学习充满兴趣,或拥有计算化学/机器学
习背景并对有机化学充满兴趣
• 熟练掌握 Python 或 具备快速学习机器学习相关软件的能力
• 英语口头与书面表达优秀
雅思:总分需达到 6.5 或 7.0 分,且各单项成绩均需达到 6.0 分。
托福:网考总分需达到 92 分,且各单项成绩均需达到 21 分。

PhD Position: AI-Driven Molecular Catalysis (University of Groningen)
The Artificial Organic Chemistry Lab (https://pollicegroup.web.rug.nl/) is seeking a
competitive and motivated candidate for China Scholarship Council (CSC) funding to
conduct PhD research at the intersection of organic chemistry and machine learning.
Your Profile:
MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Strong foundation in experimental organic chemistry with keen interest in
computational methods, or strong foundation in computational chemistry and machine
learning with good knowledge of organic chemistry
Programming experience (Python preferred) or demonstrated ability to learn
Excellent English communication skills
Ambition to publish in top-tier journals
The Project:
You will develop and apply machine learning approaches to solve challenging problems
in organic synthesis, reaction prediction, or molecular design. Our group combines
state-of-the-art automated lab equipment with cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate
chemical discovery. Depending on your background, you will be either more on the
computational or experimental side. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary group
members to implement closed-loop discovery workflows and accelerate catalyst design.
