2026-63: Quantum phenomena in topological materials and related heterostructures

Topological physics for advanced device applications

Focus: 2D heterostructure fabrication, nanofabrication, electrical characterization under extreme conditions (i.e. low temperatures and high magnetic fields).

Required background:

This position calls for an excellent, highly motivated candidate with a master's degree in Physics or a closely related discipline. The ideal applicant will have a keen interest in solid state physics and quantum mechanics, and must be proficient in English.

2026-62: Manipulation of magnetism in two-dimensional magnetic materials

Tunable two-dimensional magnets for advanced spintronics at high temperature

Focus: Thin-film 2D magnets and related heterostructures, metal cluster and ion implantation on 2D magnets, nanofabrication, electrical and magnetic characterization.

Required background:

For this position we are searching for an excellent and highly motivated candidate with a master's degree in physics or related and with interest in solid state physics and material engineering. The candidate should master English.
