最近在做ONIOM计算,处理能量是遇到疑惑:
当我的关键词为如下时:
oniom(m062x/6-31g**:amber=(softonly)) opt=(quadmac) freq nosymm scf(conver=6)

ONIOM: gridpoint 1 method: low system: model energy: 0.598423197710
ONIOM: gridpoint 2 method:

SCF Done 的能量和 model system QM 能量相等
当关键词改变,加EmbedCharge 时:(我计算了另外一结构)

能量相差很大
我想知道加入
E
mbedCharge 关键词能量差别的原因以及此时SCF Done能量的意义
在最后能量判断时,我应该选取那个能量作为ONIOM 能量

ONIOM: extrapolated energy 是最终要用的ONIOM单点能
EmbedCharge 是电子嵌入,此时MM区的原子电荷会对QM区产生静电势场,所以QM区能量明显变化
