I presume you've already tried, but did you try to restart the onboard BMC device? You'll need to disconnect the power cable from the PSU for 30 seconds or so, then reboot the computer.


A short while after booting the server, on the 'Initializing chipset' splashscreen, you should see the BMC IP address displayed.

Did you manage to connect to the IMPI before configuring the static IP address? If so, you could try going back to that and configuring the static IP address through the IPMI interface itself, rather than in the BIOS.
