How to decrypt a ransomware encrypted file (.mpal) ?

Hi everyone,I faced a big problem when i try to open my article (final version before submission), i found an additional extension .mpal in all my files, but i don't know to solve this problem.
A little research on google i discover that is a ransomware virus, i tried using a decryption tool but i got nothing.

Please, i need your helps in this matter.

I don't know about this specific ransomware virus, but based on previous experience (for a friend), you can do very little about it. It's almost theoretically impossible to (easily) decrypt a ramson-encrypted file. A few successful examples all involve getting the private key from the criminal, one way or the other.

So you should be prepared to either pay the ransom (which doesn't guaranty decryption), or starts to re-write your article.

And, use an online auto-backup service from now on. Nowadays $5/month can get you unlimited cloud backup storage space, well worth the risk of ransomware, harddrive failures and unintended file removals.

You should be careful about the online software/companies that claim to be able to solve this problem. Most of them are just hoax.
