课题组介绍
刘晓刚博士现任新加坡科技设计大学(SUTD)的助理教授；于2014年在英国剑桥大学取得博士学位。 2017年加入SUTD。

课题组通过理论计算和化学大数据相结合的方法，系统的研究有机荧光分子和探针的工作机理， 总结荧光分子的设计策略， 并探索其在生物成像，生化检测等方面的应用。

课题组自2017年建组以来，发展迅速，发表多篇有一定影响力的文章。以共同通讯作者发表的SCI论文包括J. Am. Chem. Soc. (4篇)、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (5篇)、Nat. Commun. (1篇)、Adv. Sci. (1篇)、Chem. Soc. Rev. (1篇)等。

课题组气氛融洽，合作广泛。期待通过和同行共同的努力，推动染料化学由“试错法”到“分子工程”的转化。

现因工作需要，诚招理论与计算化学方向的博士后。该博士后主要负责有机染料分子的计算，并和实验团队紧密配合，研究发光机制，探索材料应用。欢迎具有相关领域研究经历的青年学者加盟，与课题组共同成长。
薪酬范围：5000-6500新币/月

What Your Job Will Be Like      
Assistant Professor Liu Xiaogang's group is looking for a postdoc to calculate and study spectral properties of organic dyes and explore their working mechanism.

The postdoctoral researcher will work as part of a team and interact closely with both computational chemists and experimentalists. Research topics include (but are not limited to) developing novel fluorophores with enhanced brightness, photostability and environmental sensitivities, and fluorescent probes with various functionalities using quantum chemistry methods.

This job is for a one-year period, with the option for further extension.
A highly competitive salary package will be offered.
Qualifications We Require
PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related field
Published evidence of scientific contributions
Qualifications We Desire
Experience with excited state quantum chemistry calculations.
A strong passion for research
Good understanding of photochemistry, photophysics and biochemistry
Good communication (both speaking and writing) skills and team spirit
