普博生：（目前23级已结束，招24级）申请考核制每年两个批次，以23级（23年入学）为例，第一批的报名时间是22年10月左右，考试时间是12月中下旬，第一批招录的学生可以选择23年4月或者23年9月入学；第二批报名时间是23年3-4月，考试时间是4-5月，第二批招录的学生只能23年9月入学。

Ph.D. opportunities in Shanghai-London international biophysics group

We are looking for students coming to Shanghai Jiao Tong University to do their Ph.D. program at the Institute of Natural Sciences. Our research is at the interface of physics, biology, mathematics, computer science and chemistry. Topics include the design of synthetic membrane-active peptides and peptide-biomolecule conjugates as diagnostics, therapeutics, and drug delivery vehicles for anti-bacterial, ant-viral and anti-cancer treatment. We use biomolecular simulations and AI models to study peptide and nanoparticle delivery across membranes and endothelia cells, and develop atomic detail membrane models of the blood brain barrier and bacterial membranes.

Our group is deeply linked with King’s College, London and there will be ample opportunities to engage in collaborative visits to the UK. Come and join an international group of students and post-docs working at the forefront of bioscience simulation and modeling, with extensive international collaboration in China, the USA, and Europe.
