各位老师好，在一篇关于MAE模型预测晶体形貌的文章中，审稿人对MAE模型的合理性提出了质疑，问了下边的问题：

the subject matter is interesting but it hinges aroundmodified Hartman-Perdok model, which is successful in predicting crystalmorphology from vapor phase. The model assumes that the growth rate is directlyproportional to the modified attachment energy (MAE) and omits many pressingparameters such as steps, kink energies and kinetic factors. These parameters greatlydetermine the growth morphology than the morphology predicted solely based onMAE. Therefore, the authors claim that the manuscript deals with prediction ofcrystal morphology from different solvents does not justified.
