CentOS 8 cannot retrive software with yum

Hi,
I am encoutering an issue with yum command.
Whenever I try to download a software using the command "yum" the system gives the following feedback:
"Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: appstream"

Can anyone help me out? Thanks very much!!

Thanks for the suggestion!
I entered commands according to the suggestions of the website, but after that, when I entered "yum update" or anything else, it still gives the following output:

[root@localhost jz]# yum update
CentOS Linux 8 - AppStream                      1.3 kB/s | 153  B     00:00   
Errors during downloading metadata for repository 'appstream':
  - Status code: 404 for https://mirrors.tuna.tsinghua.ed ... repodata/repomd.xml (IP: 2402:f000:1:400::2)
Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'appstream': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried

Any idea what is going on? Thanks !!

Or use the DVD to setup your own local repo.

Check out the manual or find an IT manager.
