设计了一个Sc原子修饰碳富勒烯的团簇,研究其吸附H2的性能。所有计算都是在Gaussian下完成。首先BOMD模拟了母体的动力学稳定性,最后用ADMP模拟了母体吸附最大数目氢气后在常温下释放氢气的动力学行为。其中两个审稿人都提出了要做声子光谱(phonon spectrum)讨论动力学稳定性,具体意见如下:

1)It was mentioned in the text that for the maximum amount of adsorbed H2 molecules (20 H2), the TM-TM and N-TM bond lengths get a dramatic increase. The authors must present the phonon spectra to show the dynamical stability of those compounds after adsorbing 20 H2 molecules especially at desorption temperature.

结合以上审稿意见,请教以下问题:
1)看过的一些文献研究类似体系,都没有涉及做这方面工作。文章中研究的团簇属于孤立体系,是不是没有phonon spectrum这个概念?如果有,Gaussian可以做phonon spectrum吗?
2)Gaussian如果不可以做,是不是必须用Vasp设计周期性体系模拟phonon spectrum满足审稿人要求?
