Research Fellow Position in Computational Chemistry Anopening for a Research Fellow is available in the School of Chemistry,Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at Nanyang Technological University(NTU), Singapore. JobDescription Thesuccessful candidate will conduct Density Functional Theory (DFT) simulationsand develop machine learning potentials to investigate zeolite-related systems,particularly under complex chemical environments. The candidate should be ableto work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team. He/she shouldpossess strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, as well asexcellent scientific writing and presentation abilities. In addition, thecandidate should be agile, adaptable, and eager to learn and develop newskills. The position offers a highly collaborative and dynamic researchenvironment, with opportunities for close interaction within aninterdisciplinary team. TechnicalRequirements · PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, ora related field · Strong background in computational modelling of surfacechemistry and oxide materials · Experience in developing and training interatomic machinelearning potentials · Experience in studying reactions and interactions at solidsurfaces and liquid–solid interfaces using DFT simulations and machine learningpotentials · Experience with zeolite systems is highly desirable · Proficiency in Python programming is an advantage Ifyou share our interest in leveraging first-principles modelling and machinelearning to solve challenging scientific problems and contribute to impactfuldiscoveries, we warmly invite you to apply.
